About

The Camden Men’s Shed enables and encourages members to make, mend or follow a hobby. We are equipped for woodwork and are keen to expand to include other activities. Projects can be for individual or community benefit, large or small, practical or artistic and they almost always reuse materials. We enjoy learning from each other and sharing our experience over the teapot.

The Shed is open two days per week. Although set up for men initially we offer a mixed session on Wednesdays. Most members are retired and some travel across London to attend.

The Men’s Shed Association is an international organization born out of the typical shed in the garden, where a man pursues his practical interests in independence and ease. With more space, tools, people, skills and resources it enables and encourages members to make, mend or follow a hobby. For the members it not only provides missing facilities, but a workplace that some people miss such as a role or purpose, workmates, problem solving, learning from or helping your peers, being creative and even the work!
